Hello! I’m Grace— curator, writer, and researcher exploring contemporary art and culture. I’ve studied, lived, and worked in the US and Europe, and hold a BA in Art History and French and Francophone Studies from the College of Wooster, as well as an MBA in Contemporary Art: Sales, Display, and Collecting from IESA Arts & Culture in Paris. My work focuses on how art history, travel, and technology shape contemporary practice and experience.
This site brings together my curatorial projects, research, and writing, alongside examples of my own artwork. Keep an eye out too as I start to share some mini guides to my favorite cities!
I’m currently looking for opportunities to apply the curatorial and research skills I’ve built over the past few years— I’d love to connect.

Over the years, my studies have taken me from medieval books of hours to conceptual photography, contemporary artist market profiles, and even creating mock auction catalogues. Here, I’ve selected a few of my favorite projects from both my undergraduate and graduate work, as I continue to develop my voice as a researcher and writer.
My undergraduate capstone was a thesis written partly in French. My research focused on immersive installation art in France and the “spectacularization” of art, tracing its evolution from Gothic architecture to today’s commercial installations, including Yayoi Kusama’s collaborations with LVMH.

In addition to my studies in art history and the art market, I continue to develop my own artistic practice. I first learned to draw by sketching at the Musée d’Orsay, took my first painting class in an atelier in Paris, and later studied oil painting for a summer in Florence. My studio art minor at the College of Wooster focused on photography, which remains a central part of my art making.

My proudest achievement to date is Unrealish, a gallery exhibition I curated and produced in Berlin in June, 2025 as part of my MBA program. The show brought together three emerging Berlin-based artists whose practices explore distortion and perception, and I developed the curatorial framework that connected their work. In addition to shaping the concept, I coordinated directly with the artists, wrote the exhibition catalogue, designed the visual identity, and built the website. The project required balancing research, logistics, and collaboration, and it stands out as a milestone that combined my curatorial research skills with practical production.
